· The Suzuki GSX-R1000 has been on the podium at every race of the AMA American Superbike series so far in 2010, including three wins.
Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Tommy Hayden and Blake Young are prepped and ready for the third round of the AMA American Superbike Championship, a two-day double header at the famous Road Atlanta race track. The two racers are both coming off of spectacular performances at the previous round in Fontana, which resulted in Blake’s first podium this season, and Tommy taking his first AMA Superbike win.
The Rockstar Makita Suzuki GSX-R1000 has proven to be a powerful weapon on the track. Suzuki riders have taken two of the three spots on the podium at each of the four races held so far, including three race wins. The GSX-R1000’s blistering speed is the result of countless hours of careful testing and advanced engineering, and the final product is a powerful machine that can blast down the straights, but is light enough to really carve up the corners. With this potent combination in the capable hands of racers like Tommy Hayden and Blake Young, it’s safe to say that the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team will continue to be extremely competitive in the race for the championship.
The third round of the AMA Superbike championship begins Saturday, April 17th and continues on Sunday with the second race of the Road Atlanta doubleheader. Fans can meet the racers on Friday night at Cycle Nation of Braselton in Braselton, Georgia, where they will be signing autographs from 7 to 8 pm.
