The Rockstar Makita LeDuc Racing Team of Curt, Kyle, and Todd LeDuc return this weekend, May 22 and 23, to Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV for rounds 5 and 6 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
The course is a unique, purpose-built, 1.1 mile track which features complicated, high banked technical turns with rhythm sections and table top jumps, guaranteeing plenty of air time and close, tight racing. The grandstands are right on top of the action and the fans get to feel the strength and power of the 900+ horsepower machines.
The team learned plenty in the first trip to the Las Vegas Speedway in March, and this knowledge will definitely play a part in this weekend’s racing.
“The team has been working hard during the past couple of weeks and we have made significant improvements to the set up of both Todd’s and Kyle’s trucks, and my truck is all new from the cab back to emulate Kyle’s,” said Team Owner/Driver Curt LeDuc. “After a slow start to the season, we’re looking to put in a solid effort and really make a statement this weekend.” This race promises to be packed with lots of thrilling, door to door racing action.
The team’s hard work is sure to pay off this weekend as Todd competes in the star-studded Pro 2 Unlimited class, and Curt and Kyle battle to overtake the defending champion Carl Renezeder and a slew of other great drivers in the Pro 4 Unlimited class. All of the action kicks off Friday, May 21 with practice and qualifying, and continues throughout the weekend with full days of racing on Saturday and Sunday.
