Kyle Leducs race winning Pro 4 Truck
The 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series wrapped up this past weekend with the final race of the season at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ. Race fans packed the stands both days for some of the most exciting racing of the season. The Rockstar Makita LeDuc Racing team of Curt, Todd and Kyle LeDuc came into the weekend ready for battle and ran strong and up front all weekend.
Saturday's racing saw Curt and Kyle LeDuc battle it out in the Pro 4 Unlimited class. They were each able to put their Makita Tools-tuned trucks up near the front early in the race and were swapping positions with the other drivers. After all the dust settled, Kyle ended up with a hard fought second place finish and Curt finished just inside of the top five.
With all of the points tallied and all of the championship decided for the season, it was time for the most anticipated race of the season on Sunday, The Rockstar Energy Drink Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup is a once-a-season race that matches up the best Pro 2 and Pro 4 drivers in the world to compete in a one race battle for some big money! The whole Rockstar Makita LeDuc racing team ran well in the race but Kyle LeDuc was on fire! He was the fastest guy on the track and no one could match his speed. He claimed a convincing victory over the rest of the field winning by a sizeable margin. Fellow teammate and brother, Todd LeDuc ran a great race as well and finished the Challenge Cup with a hard fought fourth place finish.
