MAKITA RELEASES NEW 18V LXT® HEATED VEST

Stay warm in cold, harsh job site conditions and keep fatigue from affecting productivity

Makita U.S.A., Inc., has released the 18V LXT® Heated Vest (DCV202ZL) to keep the cold from affecting the productivity of hard-working professionals wherever heat is needed.

In addition to powering the expanding line-up of 18V cordless tools and accessories, Makita 18V batteries can help keep users warm in cold, harsh job site conditions. The Heated Vest is another example of Makita innovation in the area of keeping users comfortable and keeping fatigue at bay.

Comfort and Convenience
The DCV202ZL utilizes Makita 18V LXT® batteries that can provide heat for up to 35 hours using one fully charged 6.0Ah LXT® battery on low setting (battery not included). Users can also keep their portable electronic devices charged-up with the convenient on-board 2.4 AMP USB power port.
 
The Heated Vest has three color-coded heat settings (high-red/ medium-white/ low-blue) for precise heating control to adjust to changing weather conditions. It has four pockets including left chest, side pockets (left and right) and a back pocket at the waist.
 
Heat Settings and Convenience Features
The battery holder features an integrated belt clip that holds a Makita 18V battery securely on a user’s waist belt (battery not included). The upgraded interior fleece lining features improved warmth retention during power off. The outer shell is made of polyester, while the sides are made of stretchable polyurethane. The Heated Vest is machine washable and dryable when you remove the battery holder and battery (battery not included).
