MAKITA RELEASES NEW 18V LXT® COMPACT VACUUM

New cordless compact vacuum features strong suction power for faster and efficient cleaning

September 13, 2023, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the 18V LXT® Brushless Vacuum, Trigger w/Lock (XLC08), offering users all the convenience and portability of a compact vacuum with strong suction and fast efficient cleaning.

“The 18V LXT® Brushless Vacuum is the latest addition to Makita’s expanded lineup of 18V Compact Vacuums,” said Benjamin Alvarado, product manager, janitorial sanitation, Makita U.S.A., Inc. “While maintaining its lightweight, sleek design, and compact size, the new Brushless Vacuum has a Makita-built brushless motor putting out a remarkable two-times increase in power compared to its predecessor.”

Trigger Operated L.E.D. Light

The Brushless Vacuum features a power switch that can be activated using trigger mode or by sliding the switch, offering the user more options. There is an integrated L.E.D. light with a preglow function that illuminates the proposed cleaning area when the trigger is pulled only halfway.

Convenience Features

Convenience features include a compact, ergonomic design that reduces operator fatigue and a thermoplastic hand grip for longer life and a more comfortable feel. It also features a bagless cloth filtration system that allows for easier cleaning and quicker debris disposal, as well as increased storage capacity for longer time between waste disposal. It weighs only 3.0 lbs. with battery (sold separately) for reduced operator fatigue.
