TOOLS IN ACTION SAYS MAKITA "HIT A HOME RUN" WITH NEW CHAIN SAW

Review highlights power and ease-of-use of new HCU02ZX2

Among the growing number of tool-reviewing blog sites, ToolsInAction.com stands out with coverage of a wide range of tools for the pro -- including outdoor power equipment. Recently, Tools In Action tried out the Makita 18V X2 LXT Lithium-Ion (36V) Cordless Chain Saw, model HCU02ZX2. The HCU02ZX2 is powered by two 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries for 36V power and run time. With a 12" guide bar and chain speed of 1,650 feet per minute (FPM), the new HCU02ZX2 Chain Saw is engineered for demanding cutting applications, but without the noise, emissions, and maintenance of a gas powered model.

Tools In Action tried out the HCU02ZX2, and also had an arborist at Bode Tree Care in Barrington, IL, run the saw. And it was thumbs-up across the board, with the closing comment: "I think Makita hit a home run with this saw."

Check out their video review below, or go here to read the complete review

An arborist at Bode Tree Care tried out the new HCU02ZX2, and liked what he saw.

The HCU02ZX2 is part of Makita's expanding 18V cordless line-up, with 70+ tools powered by the fast-charging 18V Lithium-Ion battery.
