La Mirada, CA -- World of Concrete, the industry's premier showcase for concrete solutions, makes its annual stop in Las Vegas on February 5-8. Makita will be there, returning to the outdoor Silver Lot exhibit area with a dynamic, hands-on booth experience.
Drill, Hammer, Surface, Demolish
Makita is exhibiting in the outdoor Silver Lot area with their latest concrete solutions and several tons of 4,000 PSI concrete for attendees to drill, hammer, surface, and demolish during the three-and-a-half day event.
"Concrete contractors require hard-hitting rotary hammers and demolition hammers with plenty of power to get the job done, but they also demand less weight and less vibration in a more compact size," said Adam Livingston, Product Manager, Commerical Products, Makita USA. "World of Concrete is an opportunity for us to let contractors run our expanding line-up of concrete solutions -- including hammers -- and let them feel the difference for themselves."
"We have a full line-up of new concrete solutions for contractors, including our 18V X2 LXT® Rotary Hammer, which is powered by two 18V batteries so you get 36V power and run-time without leaving the 18V platform," said Wayne Hart, Communications Manager, Makita USA. "We have new dust extraction solutions, demonstrations of our rotary and demolition hammers equipped with Anti-Vibration Technology, solutions for formwork, and more. We'll also have tool giveaways, and even a couple surprises. Once again, the Makita booth is loaded with an interactive, hands-on experience."
World’s First 4-Stroke Power Cutter
Contractors at the World of Concrete will be the first to see the new EK7651H, the World’s First 4-Stroke Power Cutter.
“Engine siezure due to improper fuel/oil mixing is one of the most common failures of 2-stroke commercial Power Cutters,” said Adam Livingston, Product Manager, Commercial Products. Once again, Makita has delivered the solution with the development of the World’s First 4-Stroke Power Cutter. This new 4-Stroke Power Cutter runs quieter, idles smoother and is more fuel efficient. It also has several innovative features including automatic decompression, which reduces pull-starting force by 40% and an integrated wheel kit that retracts when not in use. This latest innovation from Makita goes beyond exceptional tool performance, as users will now need only one gas can for all their power equipment.”
New Xtract Vac™ Jobsite Vacuum
Makita is featuring several demonstrations of its expanding line of dust extraction solutions, including the new Xtract Vac™ Jobsite Vacuum.
"Dust management is on the mind of the pro contractor, and there is a growing demand for solutions to reduce the amount of concrete dust on jobsites," said Livingston. "The new Xtract Vac™ is at the center of our growing dust collection system, and with the extensive range of features it is the top performer in the jobsite vacuum category. We'll have plenty of demonstrations of this best-in-class jobsite vacuum at World of Concrete."
