MAKITA RELEASES NEW BATTERY POWERED ARTICULATING POLE SAW

Landscapers have more options in the XGT® system to go gas free

November 1, 2024, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the new 18V LXT® 8" Extendable Articulating Pole Saw (XAU03) that gives both landscapers and homeowners another tool to add to their system of Makita battery-powered outdoor power equipment.

Reach Higher Branches

The Articulating Pole Saw features a split shaft that easily adjusts from 6 ft. all the way up to 9 ft. for a reach of up to 14 ft. The added length and easy adjustability give landscaping pros the convenience of pruning and cutting limbs in hard-to-reach spaces.

Articulating Angles

The XAU03 features 9 angle settings with 120° working range for precision cutting. This wide range of articulation allows landscapers the advantage of an adjustable tool that make cuts in challenging environments.

Convenience Features

Convenience features include a branch hook, translucent bar oil tank with large opening, and a soft grip handle for improved access to different angles. The Pole Saw features “tool-free" chain adjustment for convenient operation and maintenance, as well as an automatic oiler for continuous bar and chain lubrication with a translucent bar oil tank with large opening for easier refilling.

The new Articulating Pole Saw is part of Makita’s expanding LXT® system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries. Makita 18V LXT® batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
