Andrew Johnstad scored his first national podium with a third place in the Pro Stock category on Friday night. Semi Pro driver Joe Fallen scored a second place podium in the Semi-Pro Stock race on Friday as well. Robbie Malinoski finished in the fifth spot in the Pro Stock main event
In Pro Open, Andrew was on his way to another podium finish when his hand got landed on resulting in a large gash. Andrew continued to race even though his hand slid off the throttle numerous times from the pool of blood in his glove and came across the finish line in fifth. Robbie chased electrical issues all weekend on his sled and finished eighth in the main event.
Robbie is currently third in Pro Open points, ten points out of second. Andrew has worked his way into the top ten and is currently seventh overall.
