Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey is heading to St. Louis with a singular goal: Get the fuel-injected RM-Z450 to the front of the pack during Saturday night’s main event at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
Dungey is hoping to add to his points lead in St. Louis, and his RM-Z450 is dialed in and ready to take on all the obstacles the track has to offer. With fuel injection that works flawlessly and enough power on tap to not only take holeshots but also to stay up front for 20 laps, the RM-Z450 is primed for a good night. Dungey is 12 points ahead in the Supercross class and has won four races so far this season.
Austin Stroupe will not be competing in the final round of the Eastern Regional Lites series taking place Saturday night. After a mid-practice incident when another racer came up short on a jump in Houston, Austin was sent to the Asterisk Mobile Medical unit with a separated shoulder. Stroupe is undergoing evaluation as to when he’ll return to racing.
