StarlockMax®, StarlockPlus®, and Starlock® blades can cut a variety of materials for maximum productivity in extreme duty applications. The blades are engineered with high carbon steel and tungsten carbide for maximum performance and long blade life.

Color Coded for Easy Blade Identification

Starlock® blades are engineered to perform a variety of cuts in multiple materials. Blades are color coded so users can choose the right blade for the right application. The colors correspond to the blade that is best suited for cutting wood, metal, masonry, drywall, PVC and other plastics, as well as blades that are for scraping silicone, caulking material, window putty or other sealing compounds.

A Versatile Accessory for Everyday Use

StarlockMax®, StarlockPlus®, and Starlock® blades are engineered for use with compatible oscillating multitools including the 18V LXT® Sub‑Compact Brushless Oscillating Multi‑Tool (XMT04ZB). The oscillating tool is optimized for use with all Starlock® blades giving users a best-in-class multi-tool. This combination gives users a tool with blades that can cut and sand a wide variety of materials or surfaces as well as offer better control and access to corners and tight spaces.

Advanced Blade Design, Easy Blade Changes

StarlockMax® accessories feature a 3-D cupped interface which provides more contact surface area connection between the blade accessory and the compatible tool providing greater torque transfer for increased work capacity in more demanding, extreme duty applications that require more power. The Makita Oscillating Muti-Tool features a tool-less blade changing system that facilitates faster blade changes.
