The Makita Impact XPS® #3 Phillips 2” Power Bit, Three Pack, (E-00789) is expertly engineered to withstand the hardest-hitting impact drivers (sold separately). The Impact XPS Insert Bits feature precision machined tips, torque-absorbing shoulder power rings, an optimized torsion zone and high-quality steel combine to deliver improved overall performance and bit life. The Impact XPS bits are engineered to last up to 100X longer than standard bits.
The #3 Phillips 2” Power Bit feature unique torque-absorbing shoulder power rings that help to improve bit life by absorbing and transferring torque at the bit tip to the torsion zone. The optimized torsion zone geometry facilitates an ideal transfer of impact energy for improved bit life. The E-00789 features a heat-treating process that is precisely calibrated for added durability. The bits feature a matte nickel surface for best-in-class corrosion resistance, as well as premium, high-grade steel composition that is masterfully engineered for extended life. The bits feature a cone-shaped base with torsion power rings to distribute impact force from the shank to the torsion zone. The bit sizes are laser etched for easy size identification. The bits are engineered to withstand the extreme power of high-torque impact drivers and to last longer than standard impact bits.
