Makita, a pioneer in brushless motor technology and battery innovation, combines both in the 36V (18V X2) LXT® Brushless 9-1/4” Circular Saw Kit (XSH010Z). It's powered by two 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Batteries for maximum performance and has an electronically-controlled BL™ Brushless motor that matches torque and RPM to the application.

The XSH10Z is compatible with Makita Guide Rails (sold separately) for accurate ripping. With a large cutting capacity of 3-3/8” at 90◦, the XSH10Z can conquer demanding applications such as ripping and cross cutting larger beams, boards and forms.

Get efficient cutting without the cord with the XSH10Z. It makes up to 110 cross cuts in 3x12 oak board using two fully-charged 5.0Ah batteries. The electronically-controlled brushless motor delivers a full 4,500 RPM for efficient cutting, with Automatic Speed Change™ technology to adjust the cutting speed and torque under load for optimum performance.

Added features include an electric brake for maximum productivity and a soft start for smooth start-ups. The cordless circular saw has a die-cast magnesium base, blade guard, and blade cover for a durable design with less weight (only 13.2 lbs. with batteries, sold separately).

The XSH10Z is AWS® capable when equipped with the Auto-Start Wireless Transmitter (part no. 198901-5, sold separately). AWS® (Auto-Start Wireless System) uses Bluetooth™ technology for wireless power-on/off communication with the AWS-equipped dust extractor (sold separately). AWS® is intelligent communication that provides an efficient dust management solution, that eliminates cords and reduces noise.
