The 40V max XGT® Brushless String Trimmer is engineered to provide the power equivalent to a 30cc string trimmer, but with lower noise, less maintenance, zero emissions, and no pull starts. It also has lower weight than a comparable gas-powered model. It has a 17” cutting swath and a rapid load bump and feed trimmer head for efficient trimming. It also has a brush cutter debris shield and loop handle equipped with a barrier bar for compatibility with brush cutter blades.
The String Trimmer has a variable speed trigger and three speed settings (4,600 / 5,500 / 7,000 RPM) for power and run time management. In addition, users can set the Automatic Torque Drive Technology mode, which automatically shifts from 4,600 RPM to7,000 RPM for extended run time or added power. It also features a reverse function that quickly clears the trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds. The rapid load bump and feed trimmer head loads line in seconds with 3 easy steps: align, feed, and twist.
The steel drive shaft is engineered for reduced vibration. For added durability, it features IPX4 weather-resistant construction, and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) engineered for improved dust and water resistance.
