New 9237C gives detailers added features for top performance and durability

La Mirada, CA – Makita has enhanced a category leader with the launch of the new 7" Polisher, model 9237C. The new 9237C combines consistent power and control with improved durability and performance features for high-quality polishing and detailing.

Makita 7" Polisher (model 9237C)

"Makita’s 7-inch Polisher is a longtime favorite among automotive and marine detailers, as well as stone polishers," said Adam Livingston, Product Manager, Commercial Products, Makita USA. "Detailers demand power and ergonomics and will appreciate the additional features of the new 9237C to complete the most challenging cutting and compounding applications"

New Features
The 9237C has a new rubberized gear housing and loop handle that provides added comfort for users and added protection for delicate work surfaces. For increased durability, this new polisher includes wire mesh intake covers to prevent wool fibers and other debris from entering the motor. Another added feature is the enhanced cord guard for increased flexibility and longer cord life.

Power and Speed Control
The 9237C is powered by a 10 AMP motor with a variable speed trigger and dial that delivers a no load speed of 0-3,000 RPM, with electronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load. The soft start feature ensures smooth start-ups and less fling-off of polish, wax or paste.

Comfort and Ergonomics
The 9237C weighs only 7 lbs. and is built with comfort features for extended use including a lock-on trigger switch designed for continuous use and the rubberized loop handle that provides a comfortable grip for convenient operation.

Makita’s Premium Polishing Program
In addition to the new 9237C rotary polisher, Makita also has two other innovative polishing solutions including the 18V LXT® Cordless LXOB01 for final finish orbital action polishing, and the corded BO6040 for dual action polishing with the option to turn rotation off. Also, coming soon will be a full line of premium polishing pads and bonnets specific to each polisher.

Other cordless solutions include the 18V LXT® Blower (BUB182/Z), the 18V LXT® L.E.D. Light (LXLM03) and 18V LXT® Florescent Light (BML184).
