Model 6936FD generates powerful torque at 1,260 in.lbs. (105 ft.lbs.) and touts an impressive 0 - 3,200 impacts per minute. While the torque has increased, the overall size has stayed the same. At 6-3/8 " , model 6936FD is the most compact pod battery design in its class and is extremely lightweight at 4.2 lbs.
This new impact driver comes standard with 2.6Ah Ni-MH batteries, guaranteeing longer run time as well as true variable speed (0 - 2,600 RPM) for smooth increase in speed and controlled fastening in all applications. An impact resistant magnesium alloy gear case assures increased durability and externally accessible brushes ensure improved serviceability and longer life of the tools. With this superior performance, longer run time and total control, these new impacts are the ideal fastening tools for builders, electricians, plumbers, installers, woodworkers, automotive mechanics and HVAC.
Increased comfort features are an added benefit of the 6936FD impact driver. An ergonomically designed rubberized pistol grip provides complete comfort and control to the user in both vertical and horizontal applications. The 18V impact driver comes equipped with a built-in high-output L.E.D. light and a phosphorescent bumper for increased visibility of the work surface.
